In this turbulent time, it is appropriate to ask, “Just how well is my bank doing?” 

Golden Valley Bank, like the vast majority of America’s banks, is highly capitalized, with plenty of liquidity to meet the needs of our customers.  It is important to remember that Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Lehman Brothers and AIG are not banks. 

We have a very strong Board of Directors who are dedicated to the safety and soundness of our Bank.  Recently, we completed an exam by federal and state banking regulators that indicated we exceed compliance requirements for de novo banks, which are generally more restrictive than those for older banks.
